Deed for Transfer of 13945 Cornfield Harbor Drive

Is F. Michael Harris the trustee named on the purchase money mortgage for Judge Karen H. Abrams' 41620 Fenwick Street property? Doesn't this mean that F. Michael Harris holds legal title to 41620 Fenwick Street until the mortgage is paid off?  Would that not be yet another conflict of interest for Harris as Daniel J. Guenther is constantly appearing before him in domestic cases?  Should Harris not disclose the fact that he holds legal title to the office that Guenther rents from Harris's boss, Judge Karen H. Abrams, to litigants in his courtroom?  Or should he follow Judge Abrams' lead and keep it secret until he is outed and forced to disclose it?

Did MD licensed Title/Escrow Agent F. Michael Harris waive his de facto immunity from the MD Lawyer's Code of Professional Conduct by accepting a retainer check for the purpose of filing a lawsuit against one of the parties on the day of the real estate closing?  Is this why Abrams had to omit the retainer check, essentially "cleaning up" for her Domestic Master, so that he was immune to action by the MD Attorney Grievance Commission?  How did the fact that F. Michael Harris was publicly reprimanded in 1998 by the MD Attorney Grievance Commission come into play?  Is it considered collusion when a group of judges knowingly omit a retainer check from two different MD courts at two different levels, essentially "cleaning up" a handful of ethical mistakes made by Judge Karen H. Abrams and her Domestic Master?  Was Judge Abrams aware of the loophole for real estate settlement attorneys/licensed title agents when it comes to disciplinig them for unethical conduct at settlements?  Or was she "clued in" by somene close to her who has a greater degree of expertise in the field of Maryland legal ethics?

NEW!!! Judge Karen H. Abrams' Maryland State Financial Disclosure Statements for Years 2005 & 2006.  After a complaint was filed against her in August of 2006, she added the $14,400 that she recieves yearly in rent money from Daniel J. Guenther to her Year 2006 Schedule I (see page 3). The financial conflict of interest was completely omitted from Abrams' Year 2005 Statement, despite the fact that her husband was Vice Chairman of the MD Judicial Ethics Committee.
